| Here are some of the best pictures my friend and I took at the Intersection in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My favorite song from the CD is "Maybe Someday" because it has catchy lyrics (especially the chorus) that you want to sing along with! Keep making awesome music! |

| The whole album is really good but I would have to say that my favorite track would be "Human". I like the way it starts slowly then build up. Plus I also like the lyrics of that song. Come back to Houston! |

I saw The Cinematics live first before hearing the album, and the song that absolutely floored me live, as well as on the cd later, is "Asleep At The Wheel". The passionate buildup, intricate layering, extraordinary vocals, and general all around mind-blowing qualities never cease to impress me. I was actually telling a friend earlier today that once I listen it, I can't play anything else (by anybody) because nothing else is satisfying - I end up putting it on repeat a few times before I can move on. It's just too good.
Thanks for putting out amazing music and even better shows. Scott was amazingly nice following the show, too; we had a great time talking with him about New Orleans and other pleasantries. Thanks for taking the time to chat! |

I had never heard The Cinematics until last Sunday. I was at Club Meridian to see Mutemath, and they were on before them. I was honestly blown away. As they left the stage, I left to go buy A Strange Education. It was pretty cool to get a chance to talk to Ramsay after the concert, too. Very down to earth guy.
It's hard enough to pick a favorite song, though. Right now, I'm stuck on "Keep Forgetting." BUT, I guess my favorite song is "Human." It's just got a great feel and mood to it. Really brings the lyrics across. And it sounded great live.

I can't say why they are my favourite tracks, guess it's because i like the beats and harmonies. "Race To The City" makes me wanna get up in the morning, it sounds that energetic, the arrangements are amazing, the guitars got so much drive. I love it! "Asleep At The Wheel" makes me wanna chill out. I love the bass on it; And the voice, of course, as on the other songs, too. |
